AMMAN — Chairman of the Senate’s media and national guidance committee Senator Mohammad Momani on Sunday highlighted the importance of His Majesty King Abdullah’s visits.

Momani’s remarks came during a symposium organised by the Aoun National Cultural Association, in cooperation with Amman Arab University (AAU), titled “His Majesty King Abdullah’s local, regional and international efforts in support of Arab issues, foremost of which the Palestinian cause”.

Momani said that the King has recorded a history of political credibility, which makes him influential in political and media decision-making circles.

Momani also added that the Jordanian’s loyalty and support for His Majesty further strengthen the country, noting that the majority of the people believe in the importance of the collective Jordanian identity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Chairperson of the governing body of Aoun, Asaad Al Azzam said that His Majesty is committed to defending the causes of the Arab nation, highlighting King Abdullah’s “crystal clear” position on the so-called “deal of the century”.

AAU President Mohammad Widyan highlighted the importance of the King’s visits, the most recent of which was the European tour, which were employed to defend Arab issues.
