Teenager, 8-year-old dead in separate incidents

AMMAN — A 14-year-old in Northern Badia on Wednesday died after falling from a moving vehicle, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Mafraq Public Hospital Director Ismeir Mashaqbeh as saying.
Mashaqbeh said the child arrived dead at the hospital. Also on Wednesday, an eight-year-old child died after falling from a closet in his parents’ house. The child was trying to take out his bike when he fell on an iron piece that pierced his throat, Ajloun Civil Defence Department Director Col. Hani Smadi was quoted by Petra as saying.
