AMMAN — The Public Prosecutor at the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) on Sunday decided to detain three people for seven days at Marka Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre.
The decision was based on the involvement of these people in the forgery of TOEFL certificates, which benefitted a number of teachers at the University of Jordan for the purposes of recruitment and promotion.
The JIACC has referred the case to the judiciary earlier this year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
