Three suspects arrested in drug case in Northern Badia

AMMAN — Joint forces of the Gendarmerie and the Public Security Department have arrested three people suspected of drug trafficking and possession, and seized weapons and large amount of narcotics in the Northern Badia, a security source said on Thursday.
The source said that Anti-Narcotics Department personnel had received a tip-off on the suspects, and proceeded to collect more information that led to identifying the house where the drugs were hidden, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
After ensuring that the suspects were in the said house, the joint force raided the residence, where agents found 14,000 narcotic pills buried in the backyard and three guns, the source added.
