Ties, regional developments top Senate president’s agenda in Kuwait meetings

AMMAN — Improving Jordanian-Kuwaiti political, economic and investment relations, as well as regional developments, topped Senate President Faisal Fayez’s discussions with Kuwaiti officials on Wednesday.

During a meeting with Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah, Fayez praised Kuwait’s support to Jordan, which has helped the Kingdom overcome economic challenges stemming from conditions in neighbouring countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a meeting with Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Fayez praised Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah’s role in enhancing Arab solidarity and maintaining the unity of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Sheikh Nasser referred to the difficult conditions prevailing in the Arab world and highlighted the need to unify efforts to face threats.
