Tkiyet Um Ali launches Ramadan campaign ‘We Feed Them with your Zakat’

AMMAN — Tkiyet Um Ali, a non-profit organisation providing food support to vulnerable communities in Jordan, on Tuesday launched its campaign for the month of Ramadan, titled "We Feed Them with your Zakat", the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to the organisation's Tuesday statement, the 2021 campaign aims to shed light on the impact of donors’ zakat money as well as Tkiyet Um Ali’s relief efforts during the current crisis.

Instead of organising Ramadan banquets, the organisations will be distributing meals to the houses of underprivileged families around the Kingdom during Iftar (the breaking of fast at sunset), as a commitment to the current measures taken to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
