Turkmenistan receives Jordanian ambassador

AMMAN — The Chairperson of the Turkmenistani Parliament Gulshat Mamedova on Tuesday received the Jordanian Ambassador to Turkey Ismail Rifai.
Rifai presented his credentials as extra-ordinary ambassador and non-resident plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mamedova voiced her appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah’s great efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East. Rifai discussed with the minister of finance and economy of Turkmenistan mutual relations and stressed the need for bolstering these ties.
