Tweisi joins counterparts for UNESCO forum on culture and COVID-19

AMMAN — Minister of Culture Bassem Tweisi on Wednesday participated virtually in the UNESCO Forum of Ministers of Culture, which was held to discuss challenges posed by COVID-19 and the pandemic's impact on culture regionally and globally.
During the event, which witnessed the participation of 120 countries and culture-related international organisations, the minister highlighted Jordan’s efforts in raising awareness about social distancing, working to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through digital campaigns and launching initiatives to optimise youth’s free time and unleash talents.
