AMMAN — The State Security Court on Tuesday handed a three-year prison term to two defendants after they were found guilty of attempting to join the Daesh terrorist group and promoting its ideology among people with disabilities.
The two convicts, who have hearing impairment, tried to recruit people with disabilities to join the terrorist organisation through a social networking website, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The two had been arrested by the borders guards while trying to illegally cross the border into a neighbouring country, Petra added.
