By JT - Dec 01,2016 - Last updated at Dec 01,2016

AMMAN — Members of the Lower House Education Committee on Thursday met with a delegation of the UK House of Commons international development committee, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

MP Musleh Tarawneh, the head of the panel, said primary education in Jordan has been facing various challenges due to the waves of Syrian refugees.

Schools have to cope with large numbers of students that exceed their capacity, consequently undermining the quality of education, Tarawneh added.
