Water minister discusses with Tunisian ambassador further cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abul Saud on Wednesday reviewed Jordan's efforts and achievements in the water sector, keenness to strengthen cooperation and share experiences with Arab countries, especially Tunisia, in various water-related fields. During a meeting with Tunisia's Ambassador to Jordan Mufida Zaribi, talks went over the Kingdom's experience in dealing with water scarcity in the context of exceptional circumstances, refugee crises and climate change, which imposed significant challenges to all Jordanian sectors and resources. The Minister also highlighted Jordan's experience in using treated water for economic development projects. The diplomat praised Jordan's efforts in various sectors, especially in the field of water and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the field of water and sanitation.
