Woman, two children die in separate accidents

AMMAN — A woman and child died on Wednesday and three others were injured when a vehicle overturned at Mshirfeh Intersection in Irbid. a Civil Defence Department (CDD) source said, CDD personnel transferred the bodies and the injured people, who were listed in fair condition, to the King Abdullah I Hospital in Ramtha.

On Tuesday night, an eight-year-old child died night after a hit-and-run in Zarqa, CDD said on Wednesday. Zarqa CDD personnel transferred the body to the forensic department at the Zarqa Public Hospital for autopsy, CDD said, adding that the security department had started an investigation into the accident, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
