Workshop held on smart agriculture

AMMAN — The National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) hosted a conversational workshop titled "Smart Agriculture using Internet of Things (IoT)" on October 6.
Hassan Migdadi, a professor of artificial intelligence, delivered the keynote address, according to a NARC statement.
He briefed the audience on IoT, its integration with other technologies like cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and its role in paving the way for many innovations.
Migdadi highlighted the challenges faced by farmers, noting that technology will play a crucial role in advancing sustainable agriculture.
Nizar Haddad, the director general of NARC, commended the workshop, which targeted NARC researchers.
