AMMAN — The completion of the technical assistance for administrative reform project will save Jordan around JD25 million to JD30 million in annual administrative expenses, the deputy to the EU ambassador to Jordan, Gianmatteo Arena, said on Wednesday.

During a celebration marking the completion of the EU-funded project, Arena added that the project’s outcomes will have a “direct effect” on citizens and companies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

State Minister for Institutional Performance Development Yasera Ghousheh said the programme studied the status quo of the commercial sector and made recommendations which led to its restructuring.
