11 buildings isolated in Amman after detection of COVID-19 infections

AMMAN — Eleven residential buildings in Amman were isolated on Sunday after COVID-19 cases were confirmed in them, according to Amman Governor Saed Shehab.
The buildings are located in: Al Binayyat, Wadi Abdoun, Sweileh, Nadi Al Sebaq/neighborhood of engineers, Jabal Al Naser, Al Marqab/Al Rabwah, Sahab, Al Muwaqar, Al Ashrafiyeh, Al Jubaiha, Um Zweitina.
A supermarket in northern Marka was ordered closed for 48 hours for sterilisation purposes, he added. The governor said that the buildings were sterilised and all precautionary measures were taken, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Police patrol teams were deployed to prevent people from leaving or entering them and enable epidemiological investigation teams to collect samples.
