25 cases of COVID new variant registered Thursday

AMMAN — A total of 25 infections linked to the new coronavirus variant were registered in the Kingdom so for far, Health Minister Nathir Obeidat announced on Thursday.
The minister said in a press remarks that the cases were detected through genetic analysis of samples for COVID-19 patients, the majority of them have come from abroad, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The virus is still acting within the normal behavior of the mutant strain, Obeidat added, calling on the public to abide by precautionary measures.
