AMMAN — The Cabinet on Tuesday decided to amend the civil service by-law in order to give the general director of the prime minister’s office a second degree rank instead of first, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The council of ministers also approved closing negotiations with companies interested in shale direct combustion projects, as it will be funded by a Chinese, Malaysian and Estonian consortium.
The Cabinet also approved a draft by by-law amending the by-law of the Higher Youth Council 2017. The by-law came after the establishment of the Ministry of Youth, which handles the council’s tasks and is the legal successor of the council.
