Cabinet disburses winter aid to NAF beneficiaries

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to disburse winter aid to families that benefit from the National Aid Fund (NAF). About 219,000 households will benefit from the JD3.5 million aid, which falls within the NAF’s allocations for this programme, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
As per the decision, the number of families benefiting from winter aid for this year has doubled, compared with last year’s 107,000 families. The move aims to meet the winter needs of underprivileged families.
