Culture minister, French ambassador discuss cultural ties

AMMAN — Culture Minister Basmah Nsour and French Ambassador to Jordan David Bertolotti on Sunday discussed means to enhance cultural ties between Amman and Paris and the possibility of translating some Jordanian art books into the French language.
They also discussed the possibility of distributing some translated French books under the family library project, which has been implemented by the ministry for more than ten years, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Bertolotti highlighted the importance of cultural exchange between the two peoples through various programmes, especially via translating books.
