First National Conference for Local Economic Development concludes

AMMAN — The First National Conference for Local Economic Development, organised by the Interior Ministry with support from the EU, concluded on Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The conference aimed to boost economic growth and expand job opportunities for all of society.
Sessions at the conference focused on local economic development, field studies, the role of local development and ways to boost the local economy.
The conference saw the participation of various governments, national and international parties, in addition to representatives from the private sector and civil society organisations.
