AMMAN — The government will consider the environment and social impacts of the Hijazi and Ghousheh companies in Qweira, around 300km south of Amman, before making the right decision to protect the interests of citizens, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said on Sunday.
Replying to a question by MP Awad Zawaideh during a Lower House session, Razzaz stressed that the government would not allow any company to ignore the hygiene concerns of citizens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Zawaideh inquired about the delay in a plan to relocate the two companies’ livestock farms from inside the district to areas far from the residential areas.
