Irbid Chamber of Commerce reviews means of cooperation with FDA

AMMAN — President of the Irbid Chamber of Commerce Mohammad Shouha on Sunday met with Director of the French Development Agency (FDA) in Jordan Laurent Duriez to discuss bolstering cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Shouha called on the French agency to support the chamber's training programme related to small and micro-sized projects, referring to a number of programmes previously implemented by the chamber’s training centre.
Shouha also praised the FDA’s role in supporting the development of infrastructure, most notably rehabilitating water networks.
Duriez highlighted the importance of cooperating for the benefit of local communities, enabling individuals and families improve their livelihoods and raise their level of income.
He said that the agency will examine the feasibility of supporting new training programmes in cooperation with the chamber to achieve sustainable development.
