AMMAN — The Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) on Saturday received a delegation of Dutch companies with the goal of strengthening trade ties between Jordan and the Netherlands.

JCI President Fathi Jaghbir said that the visit, organised by the chamber's industrial export services unit, seeks to boost cooperation with JCI's partners in the Netherlands, stressing that there are opportunities to enhance the Kingdom's export capabilities and promote sustainable economic growth, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Jaghbir said Dutch companies have expressed interest in building partnerships with Jordanian counterparts through past meetings organised by the JCI.

The president said that the visiting companies also completed the "business support" programme implemented by the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries at the Dutch foreign ministry.
