Jordan ambassador presents credentials to Malaysian king

AMMAN — Thamir Adwan on Friday presented his credentials as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Malaysia to Sultan Mohamed V, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Adwan delivered His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the Malaysian king and the Malaysian people and his wishes of prosperity.
He stressed Jordan’s keenness to develop bilateral relations at the economic, cultural and political levels, Petra added. Adwan highlighted the two countries’ common stances in various fields, including the fight against extremism and violence, pointing out King Abdullah’s efforts to promote peace and tolerance.
