Jordan honours Chief of Staff of Oman’s Sultan's Armed Forces

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti presented the Order of Merit of First Class to Oman’s Rear Admiral Abdullah Bin Khamis Bin Abdullah Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces in appreciation of his commendable efforts to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.

Huneiti and Raisi discussed the latest regional and international developments, military cooperation and coordination, including military training and the exchange of expertise as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces of both countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Raisi and an accompanying delegation visited the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC), the Jordanian Royal Medical Services, Princess Muna College of Nursing, National Emergency Medical Services Educational Centre and the Queen Alia Centre for Heart Diseases.
