Jordan, Morocco discuss cooperation in housing

AMMAN — Jordan and Morocco on Tuesday discussed issues pertaining to housing and housing policies. At a meeting in Morocco, Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh and Moroccan Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Nabil Benabdallah stressed the need to activate joint agreements and exchange expertise.
Halaseh, who is currently chairing an official delegation on a visit to Morocco, was briefed on the Moroccan housing programme for people with limited income in addition to the Moroccan government’s five-year strategy in this regard. He said the government is currently working with the World Bank to prepare a comprehensive housing strategy.
