Jordan to set up regional training centre for land transport

AMMAN — Jordan has signed a deal with the Arab Union of Land (AULT) Transport and International Road Transport Union to establish a land transport training centre, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Transport Walid Masri told Arab peers on Tuesday.
He was speaking at a meeting of the Beirut-based AULT meeting, in which 14 Arab countries took part, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister said that Prime Minister Hani Mulki has already issued instructions to select a board of trustees for the centre. He did not give further details on the planned facility.
