Jordanians urged not to travel to Libya

By Petra - Aug 03,2014 - Last updated at Aug 03,2014

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Sunday reiterated calls on Jordanians to avoid travelling to Libya due to the violence there.

In a statement on Sunday, the ministry also called on Jordanians currently in Libya to leave the crisis-hit country as soon as possible and to coordinate with Jordanian embassies in Tripoli and Tunis for that purpose.

The ministry also advised Jordanians in Libya to make their return to Jordan through the RasJadeer border crossing between Libya and Tunisia due to the closure of the Saloom crossing at the Egyptian-Libyan border.
