JTB receives Arab social media influencers promoting tourism in Kingdom

AMMAN — Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Managing Director Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, while receiving social media influencers from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, on Monday highlighted the importance of using social media in tourist promotion and marketing.
Arabiyat praised the efforts of influencers in highlighting natural scenes of Jordan during the spring in a way that contributes to increasing tourists to Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also considered social media as a "qualitative addition" for the media programmes and plans that the JTB relies on while promoting tourist sites in the Kingdom.
The influencers voiced their admiration of the Kingdom’s archeological “treasures”, the beauty of nature, and the tourist diversity they showcased in photos and videos on their social media accounts and received the admiration of their followers.
