King congratulates Japanese PM Abe on reelection

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday congratulated Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for his reelection as prime minister after his party won the recent elections.

During a phone call with Abe, the King stressed Jordan's keenness to further expand cooperation and strategic partnership with Japan in various fields, so as to achieve common interests of both countries and enhance peace and security in the region and the world, according to a Royal Court statement.
