King congratulates new Somali president

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, congratulating him on his election as the country's new president, according to a Royal Court statement.
In the cable, the King voiced interest in boosting bilateral relations and wished Mohamed and the Somali people further progress and prosperity.
