AMMAN —The Labour Ministry is conducting an inspection campaign targeting illegal workers targeting barbershops, as hairstyling is a profession for Jordanians only, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday. Ministry personnel have caught 47 illegal foreign workers, 43 of whom were deported.

The campaign, held by the ministry in cooperation with the Public Security Department, aims to enforce Article 12 of the Labour Law, which states that all guest workers must have work permits. The ministry called on citizens to report illegal workers using the hotlines: 0796580666, 0777580666 or 080022208
