Lower House to cooperate with Int’l Parliament for Safety and Peace

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh and Vice President of the International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP) Alfredo Maiolese on Wednesday signed an agreement to enable the House to cooperate with other parliaments signatory with the IPSP.
The deal also facilitates the House’s participation in conferences related to human rights, peace and combating terrorism.
IPSP is a nonprofit organisation that works under the UN’s supervision and is based in New York with representative offices in Italy.
