The meeting will be held by the Migration and Refugees Committee of the Council of Europe for two days at Le Royal Hotel in Amman and aims to evaluate the current state of the refugee crisis and reduce the economic burdens of nations hosting refugees.
During the meeting, which will include a visit to the Zaatari Refugee Camp, committee members will take heed of the statements of Jordanian officials concerned with refugee issues within the Kingdom. Jordan is a partner for democracy in the Parliamentary Committee of the Council of Europe, which includes 318 members who represent 48 countries.
