Memo aimed at improving engineering education

AMMAN — The Jordan National Building Council and the University of Jordan (UJ) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding. Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh, who is also the president of the council, and UJ President Ekhleif Tarawneh signed the memo, according to a ministry statement.
Halaseh said signing the memo is part of activating the Jordan Vision 2025 to improve engineering education at Jordanian universities and match human resources with labour market needs.
