Minister outlines improvements, development of Al Bashir Hospital

AMMAN — Minister of Health Ghazi Zaben on Wednesday stressed that the government pays special attention to Al Bashir Hospital and its endeavors to improve its services and implement development projects worth JD25 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that Prime Minister Omar Razzaz referred the Al Bashir housekeeping company case to the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, which referred it to the prosecution, noting that the ministry fined the company and retrieved around JD415,000.
Zaben also said that the terms and conditions of the tender for housekeeping services have been modified according to the new organisational structure.
He added that comprehensive upgrades were carried out in the sections of cancer, radiation, bone and forensic medicine at a cost of about JD70,000.
