AMMAN — Senate President of Arab, International and Expatriates Affairs Hani Mulki and Senator and representative of French Nationals Abroad Hélène Conway on Sunday reviewed the latest political and economic developments in the region after the "Arab spring" and the political changes in neighbouring countries.

Mulki spoke about cooperation between Jordan, Iraq and Egypt in enhancing economic infrastructure and commercial exchange, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also said that Jordanians support His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts in helping Palestinians receive their legitimate rights, mainly the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the pre-1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, as the only means to achieve comprehensive, fair peace.

For her part, Conway expressed France’s aspirations to enhance relations and partnerships with Middle East countries, mainly Jordan, for a better future for the coming generations.
