Orange Coding Academy graduates little inventors

AMMAN — Orange Coding Academy recently graduated 40 children who received scholarships from the academy after completing a training for the most needed programing languages and skills required to progress in this promising field, where they received certificates during an online event via Zoom in compliance with COVID measures.

Children aged 9-13 received 12 free online training sessions from the Orange Coding Academy on the occasion of Kid Inventors’ Day, in partnership with Hello World Kids, specialised in teaching children programming, through its interactive Hello Code platform, aiming at enhancing their skills, and promoting excellence and innovation, according to an Orange statement.

Rana Al Dababneh, director of Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Corporate Communication at Orange Jordan, stressed the importance of these scholarships in supporting talented children and encouraging their creative talents by providing them with needed training, noting the company’s commitment towards digital education stemming from its CSR strategy; as it equips youth to join the work force or start their own businesses.

Orange Coding Academy is one of the company’s valuable programmes that seeks to increase Jordanian youth’s employability, offering free training over seven months for the most needed programing languages, in addition to self and work skills achieving its concept Training for Employment, according to the statement.
