Petra authority signs cooperation deal with Turkish Airlines

AMMAN — The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement in Petra with Turkish Airlines to enhance partnership, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Acting PDTRA Chief Commissioner Imad Hijazin and Turkish Airlines Chief Marketing Officer Ahmet Olmustur signed the agreement in the presence of Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez and the minsitry’s secretary general, Issa Gammoh.
Under the agreement, the two sides will exchange information, statistics and promotional material, in addition to encouraging tourism programmes to Petra, promoting the site as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
