AMMAN — A police patrol in Sweileh on Saturday prevented an alleged crime after arresting a man with a gun, according to a security source, who said that police received a tip-off about the suspect's intention to kill another man who killed his father in a hit-and-run accident several years ago.
The patrol personnel managed to arrest the suspect and seized the weapon in his possession, and he confessed his intention to kill the man, according to the source.
The suspect said that he was "not satisfied" with the reconciliation agreement reached between both families, the source said, adding that the investigation was still ongoing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
