Polish band to perform in Amman

AMMAN — Polish band Tekla Klebetnica is scheduled to perform two “Folk-Classical Crossover” concerts in Amman on May 7 and 8, according to a statement from the Polish embassy.
The May 7 concert, which starts at 7pm, will take place at Al Hussein Cultural Centre in celebration of Polish Day, while the May 8 concert starts at 6pm and will be performed at downtown Amman’s Hashemite Square on the occasion of Europe Day, the statement said.
Entry is free. Band members are violinist and vocalist Anna Adamowska, accordion player and team manager Zygmunt Czupryn and double bass player Marcin Bobak. The performance is co-funded by the EU in cooperation with the EU National Institutes for Culture.
