Private farm owner caught ‘stealing water’ in Ajloun

AJLOUN — The Ajloun Water Department on Saturday discovered that the owner of a private farm on the Irbid-Ajloun road was stealing water, according to the department’s director, Eid Abu Abed.

The department caught the owner of the farm, located near the Irhaba intersection, while he was stealing water from a water main, he added. The man was using the water to irrigate 500 trees, Abu Abed said, noting that the owner was referred to court for legal action.
