Public works minister attends Rabat forum

AMMAN — Public Works and Housing Minister and President of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Sami Halaseh participated in the Housing Ministers Forum held in Rabat, the ministry said on Wednesday.
Halaseh said that the forum, with the theme “Urban Policies and Sustainable Development”, aims to promote smart cities in terms of housing and social harmony, and stresses the importance of providing cities with modern infrastructure, according to a ministry statement.
The minister and his Moroccan counterpart signed a memorandum of understanding, on the sidelines of the forum, to enhance cooperation in the housing sector.
