AMMAN — Medical personnel with the army-run Royal Medical Services (RMS) at the Prince Hashem Military Hospital in Zarqa successfully performed a surgery on a US citizen who suffered from osteomiosis (breakdown of bone) without amputation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
She said her illness, resulting from diabetes, led to loss of mobility and all previous diagnoses recommended the amputation of her foot. The German method was introduced to Jordan a couple of years ago.
