AMMAN — Following Royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti directed the director general of the Royal Medical Services to transfer a child, Ibrahim Abdulrahman, from the Jordanian field hospital/Gaza 75 to the King Hussein Medical Centre to continue treatment.

The medical report of the patient's condition stated that he suffered from severe hearing loss, imbalance, frequent convulsions and heightened sensitivity, due to a fall from a high location, resulting in a fractured skull and spinal cord bleeding.

The child developed bacterial meningitis for a long time, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The child's family expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah for this humanitarian gesture, acknowledging the medical and humanitarian efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in the Gaza Strip for years.
