Rumours of drug-laced sweets unfounded — PSD
By JT - Nov 13,2016 - Last updated at Nov 13,2016
AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s (PSD) media centre and the Anti-Narcotics Department on Sunday called on citizens not to follow rumours about the spread of drug-laced sweets in the local market targeting children.
The departments urged the public not to circulate drug-related news that is not taken from reliable sources. The PSD dismissed as baseless reports that synthetic cannabis (locally known as joker) is being sold as sweets for children.
