Senate president receives JIACC’s annual report

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Sunday received the annual report of the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) for 2022. The report highlights the commission's achievements over the year, as well as recommendations for safeguarding public funds and preventing financial and administrative malfeasance. Meeting with JIACC Chairman Muhannad Hijazi and JIACC members, Fayez stressed the Upper House's commitment to cooperate with the JIACC, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Hijazi reviewed the main functions of the commission and its role in safeguarding public funds, highlighting that financial corruption dropped by 55 per cent due to JIACC's initiatives to promote integrity and transparency standards.
