SESAME centre to receive JD1.5m in support from research fund

AMMAN — Higher Education Minister Adel Tweisi and Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Khaled Toukan on Monday signed an agreement to support research through the Kingdom’s Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME) centre.
Tweisi, who is also chairman of the Applied Scientific Research Fund’s board of directors, said the agreement enhances the centre’s research capabilities. Toukan said the agreement will provide JD1.5 million in three equal instalments to support research at SESAME.
