AMMAN — Wael Saqa, head of the Artery of Life Committee in Jordan, on Sunday said it is waiting for the security situation in Egypt’s Sinai to improve before dispatching a solidarity convoy to Gaza, dubbed “Ansar 2”.

He added that the committee has obtained the needed approval from Jordanian and Egyptian authorities to send the convoy to the coastal enclave.

Around 160 people will participate in the solidarity convoy to Gaza which will carry humanitarian and medical assistance to the besieged strip, he said.
