AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Saturday formed a committee to look into claims that the ministry was facilitating the participation of school students in recreational visits abroad.
On its website, the Jordan Teachers Association and several media outlets have recently carried statements that ministry employees were facilitating such trips organised by a regional NGO.
The committee — comprising education directors of Karak, Qasabat (central district) Amman and Qasabat Irbid — is required present its findings to the minister in two weeks.
